I want to share another story, a very well-known tale. I know everyone already knew this, and I just want to reshare it to remind us that our words are extremely powerful, and we must understand that the moment they leave our mouths, they are no longer ours, and we have to be accountable.
There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day, the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence.
Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails he hammered daily gradually dwindled. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Finally, the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it, and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.
The days passed, and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son to the fence, and he said, “You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence.” The fence will never be the same.
When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. “It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry; the wound is still there.”
When we say a word, we give it life, and those words will live in a person’s heart. Whatever it is, it depends on what kind of words you put on it; it may impact their lives or ruin them.
According to Mohammed Qahtani, “Words have power; words are power; and words could be your power.” You can change a life, inspire a nation, and make the world a beautiful place. So now choose the right words and make sure you taste them first before you spit them out. Remember, we cannot live a positive life with a negative mouth.
To God be the glory
Words can heal you, but they can put you down as well🤗
Wow. So powerful. I love it
Thank you so much❤️
Great piece. Yes, we need to be conscious of the words we speak and lift one another.

I came by to thank you for your follow. And I came across your story about the young boy and the nails. I thought it was very cool! There is more wisdom in that short story than in the volume of a very thick book.
Thank you so much❤️❤️❤️
